Paid traffic & advertorials
Advertising Privacy Notice
Applies to every page reached from a ZignaGenix advertisement, sponsored article, advertorial or candidacy check, including this one. Last updated: August 2026.
Who we are
ZignaGenix operates partner clinics in Tijuana, Cancún and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, and advertises treatment programmes to adults. This notice explains what we do with information you give us on advertising pages. Questions or requests: privacy@zignagenix.com.
What we collect on ad pages
- Answers you type into a candidacy check — including health-related answers such as conditions, prior treatments and medical screening questions.
- Contact details you submit: name, email, phone, and any notes for a physician.
- Technical and campaign data: IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, referring ad or article, and campaign parameters (for example utm_* tags) collected through cookies and similar technologies.
Why we collect it
- So a physician can review your responses and decide whether pursuing treatment is worthwhile for you.
- So our team can contact you about next steps.
- To send follow-up information you asked for, and marketing emails you can unsubscribe from at any time.
- To measure advertising performance in aggregate, detect fraud, and meet legal and record-keeping obligations.
We do not sell your information. We do not share the health-related answers from a candidacy check with advertising platforms, data brokers or lead aggregators.
Health information and ad platforms
Advertising and analytics pixels on our ad pages are configured to receive only non-health signals — for example that a form was submitted or a page was viewed. Answers about your condition, symptoms, medications or screening responses are not passed to advertising platforms, and we do not use them to build audiences or run interest-based ads about a health condition. We do not knowingly advertise to people under 18.
Because our clinics operate outside the United States, ZignaGenix is generally not a HIPAA covered entity. We nonetheless treat health-related answers as sensitive: access is limited to clinical and coordination staff who need it.
Who processes data for us
Service providers acting on our instructions: hosting and database infrastructure, email delivery, analytics, and advertising platforms (non-health signals only). Providers may process data in the United States, Mexico and the European Union. We use appropriate contractual safeguards for international transfers.
How long we keep it
Candidacy answers and enquiry records: up to 24 months from your last interaction, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Marketing consent records: for as long as you remain subscribed, plus proof of unsubscribe.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from any email using the link in the footer of that email.
- Ask us to access, correct, export or delete your data, or to stop calling or texting you, by emailing privacy@zignagenix.com.
- Control cookies through your browser settings and, where offered, our cookie banner. Blocking non-essential cookies does not affect your ability to submit a candidacy check.
- If you are in the EEA/UK, California or another region with data rights, you may also object to processing, withdraw consent, or complain to your local regulator.
Medical disclaimer
Nothing on an advertising page, advertorial or candidacy result is a diagnosis, a treatment recommendation, or a promise of outcome. The treatments discussed are not approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for the conditions described, and individual results vary. Candidacy is determined only by a licensed physician after a clinical review. If you have a medical emergency, contact local emergency services.
